To do this, it's important to remove any glue residue and other dirt from the nails after removal. Use a small file or buffer and carefully file over the glue residue. You can also get an inexpensive electric file for this purpose; the small attachments make it super easy to reach all the spots where the glue is. However, please make sure to only do this on the lowest setting of the file to avoid damaging the press-on nails.
After you have filed everything off, you can then remove all dirt and filing dust with an alcohol pad.
